- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of expertise in a renowned organization
- Prepare and cook complete meals/individual dishes & food items
- Organize and manage buffets and banquets
- Train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food dishes
- Also, inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Plan menus determine the size of food portions and order supplies
- Estimate food requirements, and costs & monitor all operations
- Supervise kitchen and work areas
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen environments before delivering food items to customers
